Abstract
Professional ethics is one of the basic issues of all human societies. Currently, unfortunately, in our society, less attention is paid to professional ethics in the work environment. While in the secular West, in the knowledge related to management and organization, there is a branch called ethics of work and profession, but in our religious society, ethics has not been given enough attention in management. Based on this, the purpose of the current research is to investigate the power of professional ethics on the green behavior of teachers in District 3 of Qom province. In terms of nature and goals, this research is a descriptive-survey application; The statistical population of this research included 852 teachers and administrators of the 3rd district of Qom province in 2019, of which 119 people were estimated as the research sample based on Cochran's formula. To collect data, Grigori, Ebrahimi and Hasanpour's work ethics questionnaire was used for the green behavior of teachers and managers. In order to analyze the research hypotheses, the method of structural equation modeling was used using Smart PLS software. Based on the findings of this research and increasing the power of work ethics in order to access the green behavior of teachers and managers, it is suggested: 1: Based on the methods of modeling and Islamic modeling, the high-level managers of their organizations should be committed to complying with good work ethics in the organization in order to improve work ethics. It should not be considered as just a slogan. 2: Objective standards and practices of professional ethics and work ethics should be designed for the organization and made available to employees. Business and ethics should be considered to provide the ground for the internalization of green behavior of teachers and managers.
