Investigating the relationship between personality traits and mental health components among secondary school students of Tabriz city in the academic year 1402-1403

Abstract
The present study was conducted with the aim of investigating the relationship between personality traits and mental health among secondary school students. The study sample of the current research was 80 people (40 girls and 40 boys) who were selected from high school students by simple random sampling method. The tools used in this research were Neo Personality Questionnaire and Mental Health Questionnaire, which after collecting the information of the four hypotheses of the research, were tested using the statistical method of Pearson's correlation coefficient and T-test. The result showed that there is no significant relationship between personality traits of non-smiling, extroversion, agreeableness and mental health. Also, the result of the research showed that there is no significant difference between the mental health of girls and boys.
