Abstract
Background and Aim: Students are at risk of mental health problems such as stress, anxiety, and depression, and one of the factors affecting mental health is health literacy. This research was conducted to examine mental health literacy in undergraduate students.

Methods: This study was a correlational descriptive study that was carried out with the participation of 300 undergraduate students of Tehran University of Rehabilitation Sciences and Social Health in the academic year of 1402-1403 using the available sampling method. The research tool was an electronic questionnaire, including a demographic questionnaire and a mental health literacy questionnaire. The results were analyzed using SPSS version 25 software.

Results: The mean and standard deviation of the total mental health literacy score was 110.09±13.33 and had a significant relationship with gender, place of residence, and age (p<0.05).

Conclusion: People with higher mental health literacy are better able to diagnose mental problems and disorders and identify appropriate support and treatment resources, and the findings require mental health literacy training to improve students' mental health.
