Abstract
This research was conducted with the aim of investigating the effectiveness of emotion management skills training on violent behaviors and its components on sixth grade female students in District 1 of Tabriz city. The current research is a semi-experimental study using the pre-test-post-test method with a control group. From among the statistical population of the research, which included all the students of the 6th grade of elementary school in District 1 of Tabriz city in the academic year of 1402-1403, a statistical sample consisting of 30 students was selected using available sampling method and randomly in one group. Emotional management skills training and a control group were placed. After the pre-test, the students were randomly divided into an experimental group of 10 people and a control group of 10 people. The first group received training based on emotional management skills based on the Gross process, and the second group did not receive any training. The data gathering tool in this research is the anger and violent behavior questionnaire of children by Nielson et al. (2000). To analyze the data from the univariate covariance analysis test with the assumptions of the normality of the Nemart distribution through the Shapiro-Wilk test, the assumption of homogeneity of the regression slope using the interaction effect of group x pre-test and the Lorin test for the homogeneity of the variance error of the dependent variable in the group. were used. 27spss software is used for data analysis. The research results showed. There was no significant difference between the group that was trained in emotion management skills and the control group.
