English

Purpose: The purpose of this research was the effect of successful intelligence training based on the Aurora project on the analytical, practical, creative, social problem solving and critical thinking abilities of sixth grade elementary school students. Method: The research method was semi-experimental. The statistical population included all sixth grade students of the 6th district of Isfahan city in the academic year 1400-1401, 40 of them were selected by available sampling method and randomly divided into two experimental and control groups (20 people in each group). were given Questionnaires include the Aurora Successful Intelligence Questionnaire, the Revised Social Problem Solving Questionnaire (SPSI-R; Dzorilla et al., 2002) and the Sasso Critical Thinking Scale (2013). The experimental group received successful intelligence training based on the Aurora project for 12 sessions of 1.5 hours. In the next step, the post-test was conducted for both experimental and control groups. Findings: Covariance analysis was performed using spss-26 software. The results showed that the successful intelligence training based on the Aurora project was effective on the analytical, practical, creative, social problem solving and critical thinking abilities of sixth grade elementary students (p<0.05). The results show that by providing a creative, analytical and practical environment in the classroom, conditions can be created for participation, negotiation, group work and criticism of learning barriers. Therefore, it is suggested that those involved in school management and teachers observe the principles and assumptions of successful intelligence in the management of schools and classrooms.
