With the advent and emergence of the Internet, virtual education has grown greatly. This method has created opportunities for education outside the borders of a country or government for everyone. Also, during the quarantine, education has been drawn to education in cyberspace. Along with its many advantages, its disadvantages should not be neglected. Therefore, the present study was conducted with the aim of examining the effect of self-direction in developing children's talents in quarantine conditions. This study was conducted in a review method using reliable databases and selected sources with the keywords self-direction, talent development, responsibility, and children. The findings indicate that children's self-direction, considering the quarantine period and the proper use of cyberspace, can develop many cognitive talents. The importance of this research can be to prevent delinquency in children and adolescents due to excessive use of cyberspace. It can also be added that this research can provide teachers and school administrators with a perspective on developing cognitive and physical (sports) talents.
