English

The purpose of the present study was to investigate the role of transformational leadership in strengthening organizational health and employee commitment with the mediating role of employee interaction in the education organization of Kermanshah province. The descriptive-correlation research method and its statistical population were all principals, assistants and teachers of primary schools in Kermanshah province who were working in the academic year 1402-1403. Using the multi-stage cluster sampling method, a number (50 managers and 100 teachers) were selected and participated in this research by completing the transformational leadership questionnaires of Bess and Avolio (2000), and organizational health of Hoy and Feldman (1996). The basis for choosing the sample size was Klein's rule (2005). The reliability of the questionnaires was reported using Cronbach's alpha coefficient of 0.84 and 0.86. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, simultaneous regression analysis and independent t-test. The findings showed that transformational leadership has a positive effect on organizational health and employee commitment. Meanwhile, the results showed that employee participation partially mediates the relationship between transformational leadership, organizational health, and employee commitment. This study contributes to research on transformational leadership in the education sector and analyzes its effects on job performance measures. In addition, theoretical and practical concepts were also discussed in this article.
